I just received a call about an hour ago that the linoleum order is in and ready for pick up. I'm going to start emptying the kitchen cupboards in preparation for some demolition this weekend. Cody doesn't know yet.....SURPRISE!!!
I'm looking for a few more things for the kitchen......a spoon rest, sink mat, pot holders and kitchen utensil holder so the hunt continues.....
I accuse myself of the following sins:
1940's glass baster-never used

Fire King batter bowl. Not cheap but still a good deal. Would be mint if it weren't for a tiny chip.

50's? ScotTowels paper towel holder

Absolutely LOVE this California Ceramicraft wall pocket. The fin on its head is a pocket to hold fake greenery. I see a lot of ceramic wall plaques that appear to be a rip-off from chalkware makers like Miller Studios and Favorware. I wonder if these companies were casting each others wares and passing them off as their own or if sculptors sold their designs to the different studios? Either way, I love them all but boy can the ceramic ones ever get expensive. Once in awhile you find one that someone didn't price properly, like I did.

Here's my oh so sinnin' linen!

(dish towels, toaster cover, laundry bag, 40's curtain panel, terrycloth apron, 60's flower towel)
